Dear Wolftrap Families,
Welcome to MAY!! How can that be? We were excited to welcome Food and Nutrition Services last week for a food tasting. Some of our older students gave feedback on new cafeteria items, including a breakfast quesadilla and a stir fry. This is a prime example of how our Portrait of a Graduate skills are used EVERY DAY, as students gave meaningful feedback on their choices.
We also had sixth graders participating in Battle of the Books, and hosted a recognition event for students who participated in Reflections. We are so proud of all the Wolfies showing up in AMAZING ways around this community.
Please keep in mind that we are still in school for the month of May and in June too! In FCPS, we all belong. From the first day of school to the last day of school, every child matters. If your student is having a hard time finishing the year strong and attending school, please contact a trusted adult at our school — a teacher, counselor, or administrator. Visit FCPS’ website for more attendance resources. Thank you for your help!
Take care and we hope to see you soon!
