Congratulations Shrevewood Community! We are proud to announce that our school has been certified Green Flag status for a second consecutive year from Eco School & the National Wildlife Federation. This is a great accomplishment, thanks to our Green Teams in 4th, 5th, & 6th grade leading the way and every student & staff member that participated in the efforts toward this goal. From collecting stretchy plastics as families, to all the students that recycled, shared food, and cared for our Tower Gardens; it truly was a whole school effort! Thank you for your continued participation in the EcoSchools U.S. program, where globally, thousands of schools just like yours are committed to a more sustainable and just world…Your team meeting agendas showed a clear vision for action, and the impact your team has had on school culture is commendable. We were particularly impressed by the way students shared Green Team projects on the news and in classrooms. Their engagement was evident, and it was inspiring to observe their leadership development as the school year progressed with individual students finding meaningful ways to contribute to group goals… Collaborating on a clean water project and gaining a deeper understanding of global challenges through work with students from four other countries is impressive. Congratulations on earning the EcoSchools U.S. Green Flag certification.
