Advance U.S. International Trade in Goods

The advance international trade deficit in goods increased to $96.6 billion in May from $87.0 billion in April as exports decreased more than imports.

May 2025: 11.1° % Change
April 2025: -46.3° % Change

(°) International trade statistics are compiled from documents collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and not a probability-based sample. Therefore, measures of statistical significance or sampling error do not apply.
