Buildner is proud to partner with AIA Colorado and the City and County of Denver in launching the Denver Affordable Housing Challenge. This international competition invites architects and designers to shape the future of affordable housing through innovation, sustainability, and design excellence.


Compete for a $20,000 Prize Fund

Participants in this global call for ideas will have the opportunity to showcase creative and impactful solutions for affordable housing in Denver, with a total prize fund of $20,000 awarded to outstanding submissions .


Design Affordable Housing for Denver

This competition encourages participants to explore how affordability and design quality can reinforce each other. Designers may respond at the building, neighborhood, or systemic level, proposing projects for real or theoretical sites in Denver. There are no fixed requirements for size, typology, or unit count, offering full creative freedom within Denver’s urban context .
