Wealth WeeklyHow to sell anything to anyonezxcv, Do you know the single thing that separates someone earning minimum wage from someone making $10k/month? It’s not talent, luck or even hard work. It’s knowing how to sell. I used to make wooden trash cans for $2 an hour. Now I run multiple successful companies. The only thing that changed was that I learned how to sell, but most people completely overlook it. Here are 4 simple ways you can start selling anything to anyone, even if you think you’re not a salesperson: 1. Let them experience it first Whether you’re selling a product, a service or even yourself in a job interview… the fastest way to win someone over is to let them experience the value firsthand. So don’t just say you’re good… show it. Bring ideas. Show examples. Offer to solve a small problem on the spot. When I didn’t have a product to sell, I still found ways to demonstrate value. In interviews, I’d suggest improvements to their website or pitch a new marketing angle for free. Sometimes they used the idea whether they hired me or not. But more often than not? They hired me. 2. Speak their language, not yours Let’s imagine you are selling a camera… nobody cares about your ‘4K sensor with a 12-bit codec.’ The only thing they care about is ‘Will this make me look good on Instagram?’ Talk about benefits, not features. People want to know three things: Will it work? Will it help me? And is it worth my money? 3. Promise small, deliver big Over promising and letting people down is one of the worst things you can do. Instead, tell people exactly what they’ll get, then blow their minds by over delivering. When I ran my hobby shop, I’d promise 3-day delivery then surprise them with next-day. Those customers became my biggest fans. 4. Make them care about you People don’t just buy random things, they buy from people they like. So share your story. Tell them why you started and make them root for you. When you connect emotionally, price becomes less important. Pick one of these techniques and try it this week. Whether you’re going for a job interview, selling on Etsy, offering services on Fiverr, or just starting a side hustle, this could be the difference between making $0 and your first $1,000. Once you learn to sell, nobody can ever take that skill away from you! All the best, Mark Tilbury P.S. What’s something that’s helped you make a sale?
