Derelict crab trap educational outreach videos

The Alliance has released educational outreach videos to inform marine users about derelict crab traps as a part of a project identified by the Marine Debris Cross Team Initiative. The videos focus on best practices for trap loss prevention, derelict trap impacts, positive messaging about the crabbing industry and how coastal communities all do their part to keep marine waters safe and productive.

To bring the project to life, the Alliance partnered with LemonLight Media and many state and regional agencies to develop state-specific outreach videos as well as Gulf-wide special topics and PSA-style videos.
