Hey everyone,
I was reorganizing my shelf last night and stumbled on *The Alchemist*. I forgot how much that book made me rethink everything the first time I read it. Got me wondering—has a book ever completely shifted your perspective?
Curiously,Zara

Zara,
That’s a great one. For me, it was *Man’s Search for Meaning* by Viktor Frankl. It made me pause hard on what I complain about in life. Sometimes I reread chapters when things feel out of control.
Also, not as deep, but *Kitchen Confidential* by Anthony Bourdain changed how I see restaurants entirely.
Cheers,Ethan

Ooo yes to both! For me it was *Quiet* by Susan Cain. It was like reading a manual about myself. I always felt weird being so introspective, and that book made me feel understood for the first time.
Also—total tone switch—but *Braiding Sweetgrass* made me look at nature with a whole different lens. Beautiful writing.
Warmly,Lila

All incredible choices. Mine was *Sapiens*. I know it’s popular, but it just reshaped how I view humanity and progress. There’s something unsettling yet liberating about how arbitrary some of our systems are.
And Zara, I totally forgot about *The Alchemist*. Time for a reread?
Regards,Marcus

Marcus, *Sapiens* floored me too. It made me question how many things we do “just because.” And Lila—*Quiet* is one of those books I keep buying and giving away to people. So glad it hit you too.
Also funny side note: after reading *Kitchen Confidential* I now compulsively avoid brunch menus. Thanks Bourdain.
Best,Zara
