| Will we see Fenway concession workers go on strike at noon today? |
Will there be a last-minute deal today, or will concession workers at Boston’s Fenway Park and nearby MGM Hall walk off the job this afternoon? Aramark and Fenway Park have until noon Friday to come to an agreement with UNITE HERE Local 26 concession workers, who have said they will go on strike at that point if there is no new agreement. There are no plans for the two sides to meet, so it is likely we will see a strike today — on a day where the heat index could reach 105 degrees in some cities and towns. |

| Fired immigration judges describe threat to judicial independence from Justice Dept. |
More than a dozen immigration judges have been dismissed in recent weeks, including at least two from Massachusetts. One of them, George Pappas, said his firing is part of a troubling trend that threatens the independence of the nation’s immigration courts. “I was told to rule in a certain way which violates my judicial neutrality,” said Pappas, who until Tuesday served as a judge at the Chelmsford Immigration Court. Pappas was nearing the end of his two-year probationary period when he received a letter informing him he had been let go without explanation. He’s among 17 judges across the country who were recently terminated, and he believes the decision was politically motivated. |

A man is accused of filming Lowe’s employees when they used the restroom at the Milford, Massachusetts, store. John Kelley, 18, faces charges of photographing an unsuspecting nude person. The employees told police that they had each used the bathroom, at separate times, and noticed a man enter the neighboring stall. Both employees saw the man place a cellphone on the ground with the camera pointed at them under the stall divider. |

She reported that he made inappropriate comments and that when she tried to walk away, he grabbed her arm aggressively, and she tried to get loose. “When she did this, the dog lunged at the male,” Lt.
