This message is for users of the PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production environment.

Please be advised that the CMS PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production (PROD) environment will not be available from 8:00 AM EDT to 2:00 PM EDT on Saturday, 07/26/2025 due to the R7.54.0 code deployment.

The following PECOS PI enhancements are included in this release:

• Updated references to 855R in the 855I, 855B, 855A form, emails, and application kiosk.
• Updated reassignment authorization language to use the initiating form type’s certification statement language for the Authorization of Reassignment of Medicare Benefits signatures for the 855I and 855B (when switch is enabled).
• Updated signature document names in the signature workflows and emails.
• Added Authorization Statement for Reassignment of Medicare Benefits to the 855A form.
• Added the Required and Supporting Document section to reassignments without other application change workflows.
• Updated the MER and MER.pdf for reassignments to show the Section 2A information and the electronic document information.
• Removed the Reassignment topic for FQHC and RHC provider types
• Removed the Scenario Selection Process Application Questionnaire when performing a Change of Information (COI) for FQHC and RHC provider types
• Removed “View/Manage Reassignments”, “Existing Reassignments:”, and “Pending Reassignments Applications:” on the My Enrollments page for FQHC and RHC provider types.
• As part of this enhancement, PECOS PI will be updated to match the new version of 855B paper form. The following topics will be impacted by this change

• Updated messaging to eliminate 855R.
• Added sections to reassignment ADRs include Section 2A information and electronic documentation information.
• Removed the section “Section 4: Reassignment Summary” for FQHC and RHC provider types
• Removed FQHC and RHC provider types as selection options on the Reassignment Search Page
• Removed the FROM CMS-855R: REASSIGNMENT INFORMATION section and documentation in the ADR for FQHC and RHC provider types
