Of course, as some friends pointed out, the fact that I earned my degrees two decades ago, far before any generative AI chatbots existed, makes my boast less impressive. For anyone in college today, resisting AI tools seems almost impossible. A recent article in New York Magazine, proclaimed that “Everyone Is Cheating Their Way Through College.”
Not all use of AI is wrong; it’s a valuable tool. But discerning between its legitimate and illegitimate uses is becoming harder every day. We asked CT advice columnists to weigh in.
