The 1987 track proved it still hits just as hard by shooting to the top of the Hottest 100 of Australian Songs - a countdown that gave our homegrown heroes their flowers.
South Australian royalty, Hilltop Hoods secured the 2nd spot with everyone's favourite rev-up 'Nosebleed Section', while The Veronicas rounded out the top 3 with the unofficial national anthem, 'Untouched'.
Whatever you think about the result, today made one thing clear - Australians know how to make bloody good music.
