As temperatures continue to drop and humidity slowly seeps out of the air, I’m working overtime to get moisture into my skin—and make sure it stays there. My first step? To clear my current rotation of any cleansing products that strip my skin, body care included.

One surefire way to do this is to look away from foaming washes—they often contain sulfates that tend to dry out the skin—and towards those with creamier textures. Dove in particular has always done well to create body products that nourish the skin while still giving a gentle cleanse, and a number of brands have followed in their wake with milkier formulas.

Here, I bring you four of the skin-loving body washes I've been reaching for all winter.
