Blue Apron’s pivot: Blue Apron, a pioneer in meal kits, is axing its subscription plan in favor of an a-la-carte model, and is now offering some microwavable options in a bid to win over users with less time to cook.

Revel’s pivot: Revel plans to end rideshare operations in its home city of New York and focus on its EV-charging business. To some city dwellers, the company remains best known for its moped rental service, which it shut down last year.

GitHub’s pivot: Thomas Dohmke, the chief executive officer of Microsoft’s GitHub, announced after nearly four years in the role that he’ll step down this year. 

Streaming pair: Fox and Disney’s ESPN are teaming up to offer a bundled package that will include both of their new streaming services for $40 per month.

Revalued

Paramount bought the exclusive rights to show all UFC events in the US over the next seven years in a $7.7 billion deal. The Paramount+ streaming service will offer the UFC’s 13 marquee events and 30 additional fight nights, while select events will also be shown on the CBS broadcast network, starting next year.
