I, Lucifer
By Glen Duncan

The end of days is near, and the Prince of Darkness has been offered a deal that seems too good to be true. If he can live out a good life in a human body, then he will get reentry to Heaven for eternity.

Despite taking residence in the body of a struggling writer who committed suicide, Lucifer thinks it’ll be an easy ride. It might even be fun. He can set the record straight on some things in the Bible, enjoy his favorite accomplishments (including Elton John), and even get Julia Roberts attached to his screenplay.

But living among humans is nothing like Luce expected. Rather than teaching mortals the delights of being him, it seems he finds himself gaining an understand of what it’s like to be human.
