An end to the war between Russia and Ukraine must include security guarantees for Ukraine to prevent any future Russian attacks that could prolong the conflict or start a new war, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an exclusive interview with "Meet the Press" moderator Kristen Welker.

The U.S. must apply pressure to Russia and Putin, he said in the interview, adding, "When I look at the situation and the facts, I don't see President Putin very willing to get to peace now."
