If you passed through DIA's Concourse C last Tuesday and come down with what feels like a flu, now is not the time to tough it out and go about your day as normal.

Someone who had a contagious case of measles got a connecting flight there, potentially exposing people on Concourse C for up to two hours after they left. The measles rash doesn't appear until four days after someone becomes contagious, so people can inadvertently pass the virus on while thinking they have a more common respiratory bug.

Two measles shots are roughly 97% effective at preventing the virus, but babies under one year and people with compromised immune systems can't get that particular vaccine, meaning they rely on the rest of us to protect them.
