A man is due in court today on assault charges after remains were found on his property Tuesday in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, as part of the search for his missing, pregnant girlfriend.

Chilly August day with rain showers; tracking Hurricane Erin's potential impacts here

We have a somewhat chilly August day on tap today. Heavy clouds, cool breezes, and a few showers will combine to bring us highs in the upper 50s (!) and low 60s. If it sounds sinister for late summer, it is. Thankfully it’s only for a day. Tomorrow we bounce back to the upper 60s to around 70.

Back to the shower thing. How much rain is coming? That’s the big question of the day, and it seems that the trend is for less and less.

We’re seeing the best chance for a soaking in Connecticut and Rhode Island, with somewhat beneficial showers from the South Shore (think Duxbury south) and then back to Worcester, Massachusetts.

An internal affairs investigation found a police sergeant in Medford, Massachusetts, repeatedly misused a family member’s disability placard to park in a handicap space during her shifts.

The probe, which was launched in the wake of an NBC10 Boston investigation, also determined Barbara Decristofaro was not truthful about her use of the parking privilege.

In April, NBC10 Boston gathered undercover surveillance video of Decristofaro parking in an accessible space right in front of the Medford Police Department.
