Crews are preparing to begin work on the signal and sidewalk improvements on South Carlin Springs between 5th Street South and 5th Road South.
- The project will upgrade the signals at the two intersections, replacing the wires with mast arms
- The sidewalk on the east side of South Carlin Springs will be reconstructed and widened between 5th Street South and 5th Road South
- The curb ramps at all four corners of South Carlin Springs Road and 5th Road South will be widened, and the crosswalks will receive new high-visibility markings
During construction, watch for lane shifts and pedestrian detours, and drive slowly to keep crews, other travelers, and yourself safe. This work is expected to be completed in the spring of 2026.
