Gov. Jared Polis, Denver officials defend immigration policies, rebuffing Trump administration demands

In letters to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, Gov. Jared Polis and Denver's city attorney defended policies that restricted government employees from assisting with civil immigration enforcement, defying Trump administration demands that those limits be rescinded.
