My seasoning is straightforward - salt, black pepper, onion powder, and a touch of smoked paprika. Leaving the steak at room temperature helps in even cooking. For grill marks, high heat for initial sear, then reduce for perfect doneness works best for me.
Any additional ideas on adding smoky taste or any other suggestions would be great!

A useful trick: Rest the meat post-grill with foil for about 5 minutes. This keeps it juicy and delicious.
To boost smoky notes, I also soak wood bits before putting them on the grill. Cherry or pecan wood works well for a subtle aroma.
