I was thinking we could plan another hiking trip later this month — the fall colors have really kicked in, and I know some of you were asking about easier trails too. Maybe we could meet at the mountain lodge again like last time and bring any snacks, maps, or gear to share?

Fantastic idea! I have way too much trail mix ready and would love more trail buddies. The lodge worked out well last time — lots of seating and easy parking. Maybe we could even set up a mini picnic with some sandwiches to share while we’re hiking?
Any Saturday works for me this month — just give me a little warning to plan the snacks.

Hi all,
I love this idea too! I have extra hiking poles and water bottles that I can bring. A mini picnic sounds delicious — I can make a fresh pasta salad or a big veggie platter if we want to snack while we’re there. Saturdays work best for me too, especially early afternoon.
Also, would anyone want some trail maps? I have extras from last year’s hikes!
