The head of the downtown Montreal business association says feelings of insecurity are contributing to declining property values in the downtown core.
Glenn Castanheira, the executive director of Montréal centre-ville, said he wants clear commitments about downtown safety from the mayoral candidates in the Nov. 2 election, reports The Gazette's Jacob Serebrin.
