Remembrance Ceremony 

This Patriot Day, we are coming together to remember the moments that changed our nation forever. Attend the County's September 11th Remembrance event at the Bozman Government Center or join via livestream. 

Early Voting Set to Begin

Early Voting for the November 4, 2025 General Election begins this month in Virginia. All Arlington voters are eligible to vote early at Courthouse Plaza beginning on September 19.

Reminder: Arlington will be using Ranked Choice Voting for the office of County Board. 

An Immigrant's Journey

As Hispanic Heritage Month approaches, Arlington Public Library is highlighting the work of a local author and educator. Former Arlington School Board member, Emma Violand-Sánchez, will participate in an Author Talk to discuss her new memoir, her work in politics, and her family's journey from Bolivia to Arlington.

Return of the Rock Smasher

A family favorite returns for the sixth year as the Solid Waste Bureau opens its doors for the Rock-N-Recycle Open House on Sept. 13. There will be dozens of hands-on learning stations and you can even sit in the driver's seat of some big work machines.
