  • The founder of a conservative political website influential in Alaska’s Republican circles resigned earlier this week, saying her departure was spurred by a dispute with the website’s owner over a story about the state’s former attorney general.

Rolling across the rugged, rusty red terrain on Mars, NASA’s Perseverance rover came upon some rocks with peculiar green, blue, black and white dots. Road and utility work paves way for major Girdwood housing development →

Holtan Hills, on wooded land northwest of Alyeska Resort, will be the biggest development in the resort town in decades, people familiar with the project say. Plans for the first phase of the project call for the preparation of 50 “shovel-ready” sites of various sizes for homes, duplexes, townhouses and other dwellings.
