Charlie Kirk’s legacy should be a new American commitment to free speech and debate

We’re not here to stand up and defend all or even most of what Charlie Kirk said. But we’ll stand here and defend his right to have said it, and if it turns out that he was killed for speaking his mind, that’s something all Americans should decry.
