Vic Fangio’s defense came through in the Super Bowl rematch.‌
Eagles grades: Defensive line comes up as big as Jalen Carter; offense does enough to beat the Chiefs
The Eagles racked up 40 points against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, but Sunday’s rematch in Kansas City was a defensive struggle.

Vic Fangio’s defense was up to the task in a 20-17 Eagles victory. The defensive line kept Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes under duress for most of the game. The Eagles’ linebackers and defensive backs were almost as dominant.

Jeff McLane hands out his grades for the game.
