- More than 32,000 8th, 10th and 12th grade Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) students participated in the annual survey. An additional 12,000 6th graders took the shortened version of the survey.
- Students have continued to report improvements in their mental health since the pandemic.
- Students reported the lowest rates of substance use in over a decade.
- Students feel supported at home and in the community.

Fairfax Forward: Highlighting Achievements, Success and Innovation
Several county leaders were named to Northern Virginia Magazine's "Top 50 Most Influential People" in our region. Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay, County Executive Bryan Hill and Police Chief Kevin Davis were recognized. Additionally, three key partners were also highlighted: Economic Development Authority President and CEO Victor Hoskins; FCPS Superintendent Michelle Reid; and Visit Fairfax President and CEO Barry Biggar.
