There were almost 100 dog attacks reported to councils each week in NSW last year as the number of vicious incidents spiked.

Local councils logged a staggering 5091 dog attacks in 2024, up 5.5 per cent from 4823 the previous year, according to data from the NSW Office of Local Government.
