Best of Dallas 2025 Is Here. It's a Big D Book Fair

The Dallas Observer rolled out its Best of Dallas 2025 issue this week, extending its winning streak with a 144-page issue. That's up four pages from last year and a whopping 20 pages more than 2023. This year's theme was "Big D's Banned Book Fair," and the issue celebrates the explosion of independent bookstores that are building communities of readers and pushing back against the tide of book-banning that has afflicted Texas in recent years. Plus, there was the usual wide-ranging catalog of all the great places to eat, shop and be in Dallas. The issue is a success thanks to hard teamwork among our editing and sales staff.
