Disability & Employment Webinar:  Disclosure & Accommodations In celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October, the Arlington Employment Center (AEC) will host a workshop about employment rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act, how to navigate disability disclosure and the processes to request reasonable accommodations on the job. Information about the Ticket to Work program for Social Security disability beneficiaries, and other great services offered for jobseekers through AEC, will also be shared. October is national Domestic Violence Awareness Month, when communities honor survivors, lift their voices, and strengthen commitments to ending violence. This year's theme, "With Survivors, Always," is a promise and a reminder: survivors deserve to be met with safety, support, and solidarity in every space. It reflects a vision of a community where every person is free from violence and recieives meaningful, identity-affirming resources and care. DVAM in Arlington is also about action: connect with all ages, build new relationships, and take visible action on "Purple Thursday."
