Denver police are investigating a fatal Thursday morning crash involving motorcyclists that shut down I-70 at Sheridan Boulevard and Federal Boulevard for hours.

Sarah Riste, a Westminster woman who was arrested Sunday on suspicion of murder, is accused of fatally stabbing her mother during an argument, according to her arrest affidavit.

The neighbor is cooperating with investigators and criminal charges are pending, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators believe the man was pushing a shopping cart in an eastbound lane of E. Hampden Avenue near S. Picadilly Road when he was hit, Aurora police said.

Investigators now believe most of the bodies found at Davis Mortuary belong to people who died between 2010 and 2012.

Investigators are concerned for the teenager’s safety, police said.

One person died and three were injured, including a 5-year-old child, during a head-on crash in Adams County on Tuesday, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
