Tariffs on furniture and wood imports are slated to start in just a couple of weeks — the latest move in the Trump administration’s push to reshape U.S. trade policy.
Here are the duty rates the president will implement per an executive order signed on Monday:
- Softwood timber and lumber imports: 10%
- Upholstered wooden products (couches, sofas, chairs, etc.): 25%
- Kitchen cabinets, vanities and parts used in manufacturing those goods: 25%
