Renovation Open House & Community Meeting

All are invited to attend.
The FCPS Design and Facilities is presenting at a community meeting on Monday, Oct. 6, at 6:30 p.m. to review the renovation completions to date and the upcoming athletic field/facilities phase of work. This review includes the project scope, anticipated impacts, and our plan to support the school and student athletes during the spring athletic season since all fields will be closed.
Prior to the community meeting, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., we invite the extended FCHS community to explore the completed renovations and the new open spaces at the school.
Open House, 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Come see the latest renovation and invite your neighbors who may be future FCHS families to see the new school spaces. Enter through Door 1.
Community Meeting, 6:30-7:30 p.m.: FCPS Leaders will hold the community meeting in the FCHS Cafeteria.

SAT/PSAT Day on Wednesday, Oct. 8
SAT School Day and PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) exams will be held at school on Wednesday, October 8.
Digital SAT School Day exam is offered to 12th grade students
Digital PSAT/NMSQT exam is provided to 10th and 11th grade students.

Unscheduled day for ninth grade students, who are encouraged to complete and submit any missing work or assignments prior to the end of the first quarter.

FCHS Homecoming Details
Homecoming Game, Friday 10/10
Falls Church High School takes on John R. Lewis High School for our Homecoming Game, Friday, October 10, at 7 p.m. at FCHS Stadium Field.
Join our Cheerleaders and Marching Band to cheer on the Varsity Jaguar Football team.
Tickets: FCPS students: $5; Adults (18 and over): $7

Homecoming Dance, Saturday 10/11
FCHS Homecoming Dance takes place Saturday, October 11, from 7-10 p.m. in the cafeteria/courtyard.
This year's theme is Midnight Masquerade.
Students may purchase Homecoming tickets online or in-person at School Lunches until Friday October 10th. FCHS Students will need to enter their Student ID when purchasing your ticket.
Any Guest from outside of FCHS must have prior approval by an Assistant Principal. Guest Forms are available in the Main Office and must be turned in by Thursday October 9th.
CHORAL BOOSTERS: White House Historical Association Ornaments For Sale
Falls Church High School Choral Booster Club is proud to sell the 2025 White House Historical Association holiday ornament, which celebrates the 150th anniversary of State Dinners at the Executive Mansion. The cost remains $25 when paid by cash or check or $26 when using PayPal, and includes FREE DELIVERY to purchasers living within the Falls Church boundaries.
Please consider purchasing an ornament to support the FCHS Choral Booster Club. Your continued support of the Choral department and its fundraising efforts is always greatly appreciated and helps with expenses often not paid by FCHS or Fairfax County. Orders will be accepted until November 3, 2025. The Boosters plan to have the ornaments available and delivered before Thanksgiving.

Freshmen & Sophomores: We're looking for a few more freshman and sophomore students to join our team as Student Liaisons. These students join our meetings and have a voice with the group and admins to share their experiences. Submit your interest form here.
