Intergenerational Photo Contest - Submission Deadline Extended
Attend an inspiring art show that showcases the creative work of adult and teen photographers. Open to all ages! Participants are invited to submit photos taken in Arlington County parks for the show. Prizes will be awarded to the top three photos! Deadline to register to attend the show is extended to Friday, Oct. 24. Email submissions to sashton@arlingtonva.us. Date of the Show is Saturday, Nov. 8 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at Lubber Run Community Center.

Family Skate Night Returns
Skate Night returns Saturday, Nov. 1 from 6-9 p.m.! Enjoy a family-friendly skating session at Thomas Jefferson Community Center. A chaperone will be required for all participants under the age of 18. Chaperones must be at least 21 years old and must remain on site.
We encourage you to pre-register online to reserve your skate size. Registration opens one week before event date.

Art Portfolio Prep Program
Is your teen considering a future in the arts? This free program is for high school students to prepare a comprehensive portfolio for art school applications. All supplies are included with an instructor onsite for hands-on help throughout the program. The program takes place on the first Thursday of each month starting Nov. 6 from 4:30-6 p.m. at Walter Reed Community Center.
Students must commit to all 7 sessions November 6 - May 7. Fill out the interest form here or attend the first session to register.

Family Night at Carver is Back
Bring your family by Carver Community Center for a free drop-in program for the whole family Friday, Nov. 7 from 6-8 p.m.! Your family will be able to enjoy inflatables, an open game room, creative crafts and more!
This program is open to all ages, and no registration is needed. Youth participants must be supervised by an adult.

Teen Takeover at Barcroft
Join us Saturday, Nov. 9 from 7-10 p.m. at Barcroft Sports & Fitness Center for Balance & Burn - a teen-led takeover full of movement, motivation and fun. Take a turn on an obstacle course, play on select gymnastics equipment, enjoy giveaways and more high energy fun! This is a free event open to middle and high school teens.
