As a school, we have read over 45,000 minutes & raised $9,770. Great job, Pumas! Let’s try to get to $10,000 by the end of the week! There’s still time to remind your friends & families to help support our school by donating to this fundraiser. With your continued support, we are able to:
- fund field trip transportation
- host a school-wide assembly
- support teachers
If we reach our goal of $15,000, we get to watch our amazing teachers race around the track in hilarious inflatable costumes! Also, we have prizes for classes with the most donations & most minutes read.

We want to celebrate the end of Read-A-Thon by having our very first Trunk-or-Treat on Thursday, October 30th! It will be a family-friendly event where students have the opportunity to go from trunk to trunk collecting all sorts of treats & goodies. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled evening, and don’t forget to invite your friends & families!

*Candy Needed - Donating a bag of candy is another way to help make this event a success. “Candy Chomper” is located inside the main office, and it is ready to continue collecting candy donations for the trunk-or-treat!
- We now have 230 members who joined the PTA. We are almost at our goal of 300. Thank you so much for your continued support!

It is so hard to believe that we are almost done with the first quarter. The school year is zooming by!
Teachers & staff members will be working hard on Monday, 11/3 completing report cards and preparing their classrooms for the second quarter. If you could please donate one or more grab & go breakfast items, that would be great!

On November 7th, we will have another “Coffee with the Principals”. This session will take place at 9:30am, and it will be about understanding your child’s progress. The principals hope you will be able to join them that day!
Our next spirit night will take place at Five Guys on Wednesday, November 5th. Don’t forget to mention “Colin Powell” when placing your order. See you all there!
- We had so much fun cheering on the Washington Commanders together back in September. Let’s come together again on Sunday, February 8th and support the Washington Wizards as they play Miami Heat at 2pm!
