Join Us Tonight to Discuss the Urban Forest Master Plan Draft
After 18 months of gathering input, the Urban Forest Master Plan draft is ready for public review! Share your feedback on the draft plan by joining us for our last community meeting TONIGHT, October 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center (3704 Blenheim Blvd) or online via Zoom (register for the link here).
Agenda
5:45 p.m.: Doors open at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center
6-6:30 p.m.: Open house to browse displays summarizing project work / Zoom room opens
6:30-7:30 p.m.: Presentation on the draft Urban Forest Master Plan, followed by a Q&A and comment session
7:30 - 8 p.m.: Continuation of open house

You can still comment on the draft plan, including our strategies for five key objectives — Protect, Regulate, Grow, Manage, and Engage — by visiting our discussion boards on the Engage page. Comments are kindly requested by October 29, 2025.
Following this last round of public comment, the draft plan will be revised by the project team and presented to the Planning Commission and City Council at the following upcoming work sessions and public hearings:

January 26: Final Urban Forest Master Plan presentation to Planning Commission
- January 27: City Council Public Hearing and Council action on adoption of the Final Urban Forest Master Plan
