| | | | | | | Hello. As President Donald Trump returns to the US after a whirlwind visit to Asia, North America correspondent Anthony Zurcher notes that while he got "everything he wanted" from the trip, it wasn't necessarily "everything he needed". A year on from the devastating floods in Spain, the BBC's Guy Hedgecoe reports on the anger and grief that remain. And finally, take a look at some of England's spookiest buildings that you might recognise from the big screen. | |     |

| | | | | TOP OF THE AGENDA | | Trump's Asia tour sees deals, knee-bending and a revealing final meeting |
 |
 | | | | | | The main event of Trump's trip came in its final hours as he met with Xi. Credit: Reuters | | In a five-day swing through eastern Asia, Trump secured access to critical minerals in Malaysia, $550bn (£418bn) in investments from Japan, a further $350bn (£265bn) of investments from South Korea, and was heralded in each country with pomp and pageantry. The trip was, writes Anthoy Zurcher, "a display of the power of Trump", but during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, an illustration of its "limitations". While Trump has "attempted to reorder American priorities abroad, using US economic might", it "could ultimately prompt a re-evaluation of [nations'] relations with America" and "if there is a vacuum created by these international manoeuvres, it is a void China appears more than willing to fill", he adds. |

| | | | | | | | Benetússer, Valencia region |
 |
 | | | | Angry Spaniards demanding answers a year after Valencia's deadly floods | | | | The sheer amount of water and mud in the garage meant Toñi's husband and daughter were unable to reach the door. Credit: Guy Hedgecoe/BBC | | A year on from the worst flooding in Spain for decades that left 237 people dead in the Valencia region and surrounding areas, the legacy of the tragedy lingers. Anger at the regional authorities' handling of what happened remains and a judicial inquiry into possible negligence is under way. And for those who lost loved ones in tragic circumstances, the grief refuses to fade. |
 |
 | | | | | | | The last time Toñi García saw her husband, Miguel, and 24-year-old daughter, Sara - their only child - was when flash floods struck their hometown of Benetússer a year ago. Miguel and Sara went down to the garage in the basement of their home to move their car. But floodwater poured in and they were unable to escape.
"The military scuba divers who found the bodies of my husband and daughter said that they had managed to get out of the car and they were together, holding each other," says Toñi, in tears. "I know that they had time to know that they would die," she adds. |

 | | | | | | | | | | Eyewitnesses: “When the water started to rise, it came as a wave... like a tsunami." Those who survived recount what happened.
