Official Regulatory Update — Renewal of Expired W-8BEN Certification |
| |
Dear Client,
Pursuant to U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requirements, all non-U.S. clients who earn income from U.S.-based sources must provide valid and up-to-date Form W-8BEN documentation. This certification confirms your foreign residency and ensures the correct withholding rate under applicable international tax treaties.
Our compliance review has identified that your W-8BEN form has expired. In order to remain in compliance and to continue receiving income without interruption, it is essential that you renew your documentation immediately.
If a valid form is not received, withholding will automatically default to 30% in accordance with IRS regulations. This may also result in processing delays or temporary holds on account-related transactions.
Please renew your form through our official online submission system:
Renew Form W-8BEN
The process is straightforward, confidential, and secure. Your updated certification will remain valid for three years unless there is a change in your tax residency status.
For additional information or personalized assistance, please contact our Tax & Reporting Team.
We appreciate your prompt cooperation and continued compliance with U.S. federal tax requirements.
