If you don't know what to ship, why not start with a blog on something that excites you?

• If you love playing a game, start a gaming blog.
• If you love investing, start an investing blog.
• If you love coding, start a coding blog.
• If you love AI engineering, start an AI engineering blog.
• ...

The value is more in the credibility you build over the years by becoming an expert in your niche. It opens up many doors. However, you'd also create a solid income stream that would already be life-changing for many.

Some rough (first-order) math - second-order consequences ignored that will often outshine these more immediate benefits:

• One article might get 100 visitors per month for years (say: 4y)
• Each article might get 100 * 4 * 12 = 5000 visitors (lifetime)
• If you reach $20 RPM (I regularly do), you'd get $20 RPM * 5000 visitors / 1000 = $100 per article.

Now you could either write 1-2 daily articles yourself if you enjoy talking about this stuff (why you have chosen this niche in the first place) - or write 10x that with the help of AI tools (if you have a lot of article ideas and you are a good steward of AI value creation pipelines).

The former would converge on something like $100- $200 per day (immediate benefits). The latter would converge to 10x that - if done right (more difficult!). You could always start with the former and converge to the latter if you see some initial success.

Most importantly, writing is a very rewarding activity, and it builds your credibility and industry expertise, which yields a lot more second-order rewards that you would never have expected.
