Hey ,

We all love good advice. We write it down, rewatch the video, save the post.

But that’s not the same as accepting it.

Accepting means trusting the person giving it and actually doing what they say, even when it’s uncomfortable or difficult.

Here’s what the wisest book says: “Wisdom is worth more than silver, it brings more profit than gold.” (Proverbs 3:14) But it only works if you accept it, like this proverb says: “The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.” (Proverbs 12:15). Listen is more than just hearing. It's making the advice yours, responding positively to it.

I’ve seen two big reasons designers stay stuck:

  1. They reject good advice. For example: every successful business owner talks about niching down. Very few designers actually niche down.
  2. They follow too many voices and go nowhere. Been there, done that. You hear so many "gurus" out there that you end up Frankensteining your business strategy.

So pick one mentor you trust. Go all in. Sometimes you don’t need more advice, just more trust and more action.

If you’re ready to follow a proven strategy, book a call. I’ve got 6 spots left next week.

As always my friend, let's bridge the gap 1px at a time!

Best,

Adrian Somoza
