We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Please consider joining the PTA! Our goal this year is 300 members, and we are currently at 230 members. It does not require any time for volunteering, and your membership dues fund the school in many different ways, like the school-wide assembly that took place on Monday. It was called Extreme Science, and the students had an amazing time learning about different science concepts (see photos below).
Thank you to those who have already joined & for allowing us the opportunity to provide these events for the students. We appreciate your generosity!

If you were unable to purchase school spirit wear back in September, you’re in luck! The online store is open again but only until December 17th (1pm deadline).
Our next spirit night will take place at Taco Chinoz on Thursday, December 4th. 25% of all proceeds will benefit Colin Powell. We are so thankful for their generosity!
Don’t forget to mention “Colin Powell” when placing your order at the restaurant. If you are planning to order online, you can write “Colin Powell” in the special instructions box. Thank you!

This year, the theme for our yearbook cover is “One Powell”. You can paint, draw, and/or sketch a piece of art & submit it to an art teacher by December 18th. Don’t forget to include the slip of paper with your artwork (see below for form).
