Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott donated $7.1 billion to nonprofits in 2025, significantly increasing her annual giving, according to an essay on her website. The contributions, which bring her total donations since 2019 to $26.3 billion, include $783 million to historically Black colleges and universities and $50 million to the Native Forward Scholars Fund.
