Coca-Cola eyes global expansion for dairy protein
Coca-Cola is considering global expansion for its dairy protein products, building on the success of its Fairlife brand in the US and Santa Clara products in Mexico. CEO James Quincey says increased capacity, such as from a new $650 million facility in New York, will enable innovation in flavors and packaging.

FrieslandCampina Ingredients has bought Wisconsin Whey Protein, the company's largest ingredients investment since the Friesland Foods and Campina merger 17 years ago. This acquisition expands FrieslandCampina's footprint in North America and brings in a technologically advanced, high-quality whey protein producer. The deal, which is set to unlock growth opportunities and add significant whey protein isolate capacity, aligns with FrieslandCampina's strategy to serve the fast-growing US market and strengthen its global position as a top-tier protein supplier.
