US District Judge Charles Breyer issued a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration's deployment of California National Guard troops in Los Angeles and ordered that control of the troops be relinquished to the state. The administration acted without approval from Gov. Breyer paused the injunction until Monday to allow an opportunity for the administration to appeal.
