Good morning, Chicago.

Coach Ben Johnson said this past week that Chicago Bears “desperately” needed a win against the Browns — and his team took care of business.

The Bears handled the Browns easily, winning 31-3 in front of 54,051 fans in one of the coldest games ever played at Soldier Field. The temperature at kickoff was 8 degrees. The Browns offense might’ve been colder. Cleveland had only one first down in the first half and failed to find the end zone in the game. The Browns finished with just 197 total yards.

Quarterback Caleb Williams and the Bears offense did enough to cruise to an easy victory. Running back D’Andre Swift scored two touchdowns and wide receiver DJ Moore caught two touchdown passes from Williams.

The Bears improved to 10-4, their first 10-win season since 2018, and remained in playoff position in the NFC.

The Bears have three games remaining in the regular season, starting with a rematch against the Packers on Saturday night at Soldier Field.
