Since our previous newsletter, we have completed several exciting and important activities to support digital transformation in the Eastern Partnership (EaP) region. We have published plenty of reports to support various aspects of telecommunications across several Eastern partner countries. We have launched and completed a series of strategic workshops to support the development of the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Ukraine. And - we’re delighted to say - EU4Digital Academy has launched our fifth online course, this time featuring local expertise from target countries in the EaP region, on the topic ‘Digitalisation of Business’!

NEW! EU4Digital Academy ‘Digitalisation of Business’ course and contributor story

EU4Digital Academy’s new, free-of-charge online course, on ‘Digitalisation of Business’, is now available. Designed to help SMEs stay competitive, this beginner-friendly course is on the atingi platform in English, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Romanian and Ukrainian. Practical materials and real-world case studies bring the course to life, thanks to the contribution of local technical and business expertise. Ukrainian entrepreneur Dmytro Kovalchuk was one contributor and shared his story.

Towards trustworthy AI: EU4Digital advances Ukraine’s legislative alignment with Europe
|

EU4Digital’s new strategic workshop series has deepened understanding among Ukrainian public institutions of the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act) in preparation for aligning national legislation with European regulations. The events raised awareness and helped define approaches for a trustworthy AI ecosystem, advancing Ukraine’s integration into the European digital ecosystem.

EU4Digital broadband reports – Telecom Rules
|
|
|
Seven new EU4Digital reports support EaP telecommunications specialists, regulators and other stakeholders to align with European regulations and implement best practices. Three regional reports cover: wholesale voice call termination market analysis; broadband market analysis; broadband internet access monitoring, with the latter supplemented by country-specific reports on Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova. All these reports are available in the EU4Digital website Library.

EU4Digital concludes co-creation of Invest Moldova Agency Strategy
|
|
|
EU4Digital held its final workshop to co-create and deliver the Invest Moldova Agency‘s 2025–2030 strategy, as part of its support for the agency’s capacity-building. The new strategy aims to empower the agency to drive the sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova through investment attraction and export promotion.

EU4Digital showcases achievements at EU4Youth Days
|
|
|
Inclusive, practical learning so ‘nobody is left behind’ in the evolving digital landscape: this was the message showcasing EU4Digital achievements to EU and EaP EU4Youth programme participants, other youth representatives, practitioners, decision-makers and stakeholders at EU4Youth Days — the flagship event for advancing employment, participation and education opportunities in Eastern partner countries.
