Fairfax Forward: Highlighting Achievements, Success and Innovation
The Fairfax County Park Authority Board approved a $10,084.47 Mastenbrook Volunteer Matching Fund Grant to enhance the Westgrove Park off-leash dog area in the Mt. Vernon district. In partnership with dog park's volunteer group, the project will install ADA-compliant wood fiber surfacing and accessible picnic tables, improving accessibility and comfort for park visitors. The improvements are set for completion in spring 2026.
