They were the only two players selected on that is 12-3, battling for the No. 1 playoff seed and wrapping up one of the best single-season turnarounds in NFL history. Ben Volin believes the lack of recognition should serve as the perfect fuel for the Patriots.
STICKING AROUND: Ben Brown was set to become an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of this season, but the versatile offensive lineman will remain under contract with the Patriots through 2027 after signing an extension. Nicole Yang has the details.
STAND BY YOUR MAN: Steelers coach Mike Tomlin doesn’t condone the actions that led to wide receiver DK Metcalf’s two-game suspension by the NFL following an in-game altercation with a fan, but he added that Metcalf has his full support. Metcalf’s appeal to have the suspension reduced was denied by the league on Tuesday.
