Icy conditions caused a 16-vehicle crash in Westminster on Friday evening, sending four people to the hospital, state police said.

“Everybody is chasing that number down and knows that the consumer is going to ring on that lowest number,” Len Stoler Chevrolet’s General Sales Manager Raymond Andrewlavage said.

Westminster had one of the most prolific offenses in recent memory in Carroll County and as a result is well-represented on the first team.

Though the community is eager for answers about what caused crashed in Carroll and Harford counties, killing several teens, officials say it can take many months for a crash investigation to conclude and for prosecutors to determine whether anyone is at fault and should be charged.
