2026 Wants to Know: Are You Available for Your Dreams Without Burnout?3 Questions to Ask Yourself If You’re Tired But Still Want MoreWelcome to Coming Home, my weekly newsletter for people who are healing, remembering, and occasionally sharing cat memes about boundaries. I’m Natasha Levinger—inner child intuitive, energy healer, and author of Inner Child Healing: Reparenting Yourself for a More Secure and Loving Life. Clicking the ♡ is a tiny spell of resonance and makes a difference. So does forwarding it to a friend who’s mid-doomscroll and might welcome a gentle paradigm jolt. And if you’d like to be a paid subscriber, I am so grateful for the contribution and I truly love building this community—and you get the Friday Energy Report, a monthly live call and tons of other healing goodies! xo Good morning from 2026 where many people are already overwhelmed and it’s only January 8th! If you are feeling this way, it is not because you are doing it wrong, or you missed the onramp to the “GO HARD” exit. I believe it’s because the collective field is moving fast, and your nervous system isn’t a machine (I know…bros have been trying to convince us that one for awhile!). But this does not mean you are a victim or that there is nothing to be done about it. Let’s name the two truths that are colliding:
If you’re caught in that liminal space of: “I want to manifest things, but I also want to lie down…” But first let’s talk about what I’m getting from the energy of 2026 in general, because it will help inform how we orient towards ourselves and what we want. She’s Not a Year, She’s an Era and Her Name is 2026This year is fast, but not linear. There is a conveyor belt feeling to 2026’s energy, like things are moving quickly, but not always in a straight line. Which can feel both like you want to get on the train but also like you want to get off of it before you hear the conductor say, “Stand clear of the closing doors”. We can create what we want, but we can’t do it by strapping ourselves to the hamster wheel of hustle and praying it turns into a portal. That was soooo last year/millenial/and like, a lot of the ones before that. This season isn’t about micromanaging the universe or trying to out-plan late-stage capitalism. It’s about presence anchoring: coming back to your actual self, not the one you think you should be. Reframe: Manifestation as Inner Stability, Not OutputManifestation isn’t (only) about getting what you want, it’s about inhabiting the frequency of what you want to become (and in fact, in many ways, already are). So if all you feel like doing right now is resting, stretching, staring into space… that might be the exact thing your system needs for what you desire to start appearing in your external world. Here’s the thing that trips people up (understandably): You’re not building an inner world so you can finally get the outer one. You’re building the inner world because it is the thing you want. You want to feel freedom, safety, abundance (for instance)—that’s the goal. And if you can feel it when you’re sipping coffee mid-day and looking up at the sky like, “Damn, I’m alive and this is beautiful,” you’ve already landed in it. Compare that to a millionaire who’s still stress-scrolling Zillow at midnight convinced they’re behind. Who’s really got the abundance, y’know? Inner frequency does create outer change, but not if you’re using it as a secret hack to force the universe’s hand. I’m not trying to gaslight you into pretending you don’t want things. Of course you want things! You’re human (I’m assuming—apologies to tree faeries I’ve left out here). What I am saying is: if you place your entire sense of okay-ness in the future, you abandon current you and the only place anything can actually shift: the now. You can’t manifest from a body that’s being ignored or a spirit that’s running on fumes. Let Desire Be Hot Without Demanding ROIExpectation is just simply not it. It sneaks in a very specific hidden message: “This inner experience is not enough unless it produces a result.” (This rose also goes by: capitalism at all costs, colonialism and toxic masculinity.) Energetically, that does three things:
When you’re constantly checking “reality” like: You’ve accidentally re-boarded the shuttle to the Land of Not-Enoughness™. We all do it. It’s (as previously mentioned) human. |
